My Top Tip for Tackling PMDD

Hey there, nice to meet you! I'm Natasha. So, let me take you back a bit. For years, I struggled big-time with severe PMDD. It was like this relentless storm brewing inside me, wreaking havoc on my life from the age of 18 all the way into my early forties. But hey, I'm a fighter, and I wasn't about to let PMDD call all the shots.

It was a journey of discovery, you know? Like peeling back layers to uncover what the heck was setting off this PMDD monster inside me. And let me tell you, it wasn't an easy road. I mean, I didn't even know what PMDD was until I hit my thirties! Talk about a late introduction to a nightmare.

So, armed with this newfound knowledge, I dove headfirst into trying to kick PMDD to the curb. But man, it was trial and error galore. I tried everything under the sun, from treatments to therapies, but it felt like hitting one dead end after another. I even reached a point where I just resigned myself to the idea that I'd always be at PMDD's mercy every two weeks. It was rough.

But then, in my early forties, something clicked. Almost accidentally, I stumbled upon some game-changing insights that turned the tables. And you know what? If I could go back and give just one piece of advice to someone battling PMDD, it'd be this: research yourself. Seriously, become your own detective.

Keep a journal and jot down everything for a good three to six months. What you eat, the meds or supplements you take, your TV habits, heck, even the company you keep. Every little detail counts. It's like you're building a roadmap to understanding yourself better. And let me tell you, that self-awareness is pure gold when it comes to tackling PMDD head-on. Trust me on this one. Researching yourself will give you so much guidance on how to tackle your PMDD.
